Der "Foot in Mouth"-Award wird alljährlich im Rahmen der Plain English Campaign Awards vergeben, und zwar für einen "truly baffling comment". Der ebenfalls vergebene Golden Bull beweist unter anderem, dass nicht nur deutschsprachige Konsumenten unter schlechten Übersetzungen leiden:
